Honoring Those Who Served

Tina was nominated for her incredible dedication to supporting veterans, first responders, and their families during some of life’s most difficult moments. As the Triangle District Assistant Ride Captain, Tina helps coordinate and participate in honoring those who have served our country and communities.

Her service includes posting flags at military and first responder funerals, escorting veterans to their final resting place, folding and presenting funeral flags to families, and helping grant “Last Ride Wishes” for veterans. These acts of kindness and respect provide comfort, dignity, and honor to families during emotional times.

While many people may never see the work happening behind the scenes, Tina’s commitment has touched countless lives throughout our communities. Her willingness to serve others without seeking recognition is exactly what the HomeTowne Hero campaign is all about.

We are grateful for Tina Firestone and the compassion, dedication, and respect she continues to show to veterans, first responders, and their loved ones.

Thank you, Tina, for making a difference and helping make our communities stronger.

Her commitment is a powerful reminder that honoring service does not end when the uniform comes off.
